David Griswold is a social entrepreneur who has worked to create positive change using the power of business.
He has three decades of experience in the fields of specialty coffee and supply chain sustainability.
David founded Sustainable Harvest in 1997 to provide smallholders and roasters with the most transparent buyer-seller connections to build a more sustainable approach to the coffee business.
He named this innovative approach“Relationship Coffee.” David designed the Relationship Coffee Model to develop scalable solutions growers face as barriers to equitable and dignified business relationships.
As the first impact-driven specialty coffee importer, Sustainable Harvest has invested deeply in agronomy, gender, and NextGen business training. It connects nearly 100,000 suppliers to build direct relationships with global, national and local brands in North America, Europe,
and Asia.
