Born to a Vietnamese mother and American father in the USA, Frith stumbled unintentionally into the coffee industry more than once, eventually discovering his passions for service, learning, and problem solving through work and the specialty coffee community. He is currently Founder - Director of building, a co-roasting facility, community hub, and education center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In addition to his work with building, Frith is focused on developing coffee quality in Vietnam, from working with growers and processors in arabica regions to consulting for and mentoring Vietnam’s future specialty coffee entrepreneurs. He hopes to change the perception of Vietnam as a low quality coffee producer into something that’s much more diverse, something that specialty coffee roasters can be proud to add to their offerings lists.
